A beautiful Y-shaped artificial beach with white sand within Ocean Expo Park. It has been selected as one of the "100 Best Swimming Beaches," and the contrast between the crystal clear emerald green water and the white sand is spectacular. Jellyfish prevention nets and lifeguards are on duty, and the waves are gentle, so even small children can enjoy swimming in the sea without worry.

This relaxing spot, planted with approximately 20,000 Fukugi trees, preserves the traditional Okinawan village scenery. The Fukugi trees, which act as windbreaks and protect the houses, create a green tunnel, allowing you to stroll through the dappled sunlight or take a leisurely ride in a water buffalo cart. As it is a quiet village, we also recommend strolling early in the morning or at dusk.

It is one of the World Heritage Sites, "Gusuku Sites and Related Properties of the Kingdom of Ryukyu." Located at an altitude of about 100m, it is attractive for its beautiful curves of sturdy castle walls and the spectacular view of the East China Sea that can be seen from there. Also known as "Hokuzan Castle," it is also famous as one of Okinawa's leading cherry blossom viewing spots. From January to February, the castle walls are decorated with winter cherry blossoms.

This forest park is located near the summit of Mt. Oppa Dake, which is 275m above sea level. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Kouri Island, Yagaji Island, and even Izena Island in the distance. There is a campsite and bungalows, and at night it is a hidden gem of a scenic spot where you can enjoy the starry sky and the night view of Nago city.

A natural beach stretches out in front of the resort hotel "Bel Paraiso" in Nakijin Village. The name means "big beach" in the local dialect. It features pure white sand and crystal clear emerald green water, and is in a great location with a view of Kouri Island on the opposite shore. Facilities such as jellyfish prevention nets are also provided, so families can enjoy themselves with peace of mind.

This 1,960m-long bridge connects Kouri Island in Nakijin Village and Yagaji Island in Nago City. It is one of Okinawa's best driving courses, offering the exhilarating feeling of driving over the ocean. It is free to use, and the sea on both sides is a vibrant blue known as "Kouri Blue." There is a parking lot at the foot of the bridge, and you can also walk across.

The beach spreads out immediately to the left after crossing the Kouri Bridge. The shallow waters and gentle waves make it ideal for swimming with small children. The impressive view looking up from directly below the bridge is also appealing. It is adjacent to the Kouri Island Community Square, and is also a great spot for the extensive facilities, including free parking, toilets, and showers (fees apply).

Located on the north side of Kouri Island, this natural beach is untouched by nature. It is dotted with unusual rock formations known as "potholes" (cylindrical hollows). In contrast to the area around the bridge, which is bustling with tourists, this quiet beach has high transparency and allows you to see coral and tropical fish, making it a popular hidden spot for snorkelers.

A heart-shaped rock formed by wave erosion at "Teenu Beach" in the northern part of Kouri Island. It became famous overnight as a location for a commercial for a popular idol group. One of the fun things to do is find the angle at which the two rocks overlap to form a heart. It is a popular photo spot visited by many couples and tourists as a "sacred place for lovers."

This beachside campsite is located at the entrance to Yagaji Island. It has spacious grassy sites and is also suitable for car camping. It is famous for the mysterious "Tombolo Phenomenon (Pure Road)," where a path appears in the sea only at low tide, allowing you to walk across to the uninhabited island. Bungalows are also available, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for families and beginners alike.

This waterfall is located upstream of the Henan River, which flows through the Yanbaru forest. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes of river trekking (walking along the river) one way from the parking lot. It is a wild spot surrounded by subtropical plants, and you can also enjoy splashing around in the waterfall basin. *We recommend wearing a life jacket, and take care when the water level rises.

"Shikuwasa Village" is a theme park located in Ogimi Village. You can sample as much Shikuwasa juice as you like for free, which may be the first in the world. You can also tour the juice factory and try harvesting during the harvest season. You can also try pizza and sweets made with Shikuwasa at the restaurant.

This roadside station is located at the gateway to the World Natural Heritage Site, Yanbaru. It has a 360-degree dome theater as an information hub, where you can experience the charm of the forest through video. The direct sales store sells fresh locally grown vegetables and fruits, and the restaurant serves gourmet food such as Ogimi Wagyu beef.

Located on the shores of Shioya Bay, this private campsite is limited to 2-3 groups per day. Facing a quiet bay, you can leisurely enjoy fishing and canoeing in the ocean right in front of you. It features karst topography typical of limestone, and the hiking trail is relatively well-maintained, making it easy even for beginners to tackle. From the summit, you can see a panoramic view of both the East China Sea and the Pacific Ocean, and on clear days, it is known as a scenic spot where you can see all the way to the surrounding outlying islands.
